Fit as a Feminist Issue

In this RAISE YOUR VOICE (CFRU fundraiser show) radio listeners can call in just before 5pm on Thursday Nov 22, to win an autographed copy of "Fit At Mid Life" by Samantha Brennan and Tracy Isaacs.  Isn't she inspiring? We were so honoured that the Dean, College of Arts, University of Guelph would ride up to campus on a Sunday, to spend some time with us!  Empowering and relatable, we enjoyed the visit as much as the blog and the book...  which you can find at the Bookshelf.  We all need to find what we love to do to keep us fit and strong and healthy --  is it horse riding or cycling for you? Or something else entirely?

You will also hear a Riding With The Stars segment with Brenna MacCrimmon, recorded in the hallways at the Folk Music Ontario Conference.  She is a member of a Toronto-based vocal quartet, Turkwaz, that offers music of the Middle East and Balkans in new and unexpected ways.  Enjoy!
